Journal History
The journal was first launched in 2011 as an open-access publication, with a commitment to disseminating scientific knowledge freely and globally. From its inception, the journal has used English as the language of publication to ensure wider accessibility and international reach. Over the years, the journal has experienced several changes in its office address, due to various administrative and organizational factors. Despite these relocations, the journal has consistently maintained its quality and regular publication schedule.
An ISSN (International Standard Serial Number) record was officially created for the journal on May 28, 2020, marking a formal step in its bibliographic recognition. A significant milestone was reached when this journal was accepted for indexing in Scopus. The journal is listed on the Scopus Source Page, with coverage beginning in 2014. Since then, the journal has grown rapidly. However, unfortunately, in March 2025, Scopus decided to discontinue coverage of the International Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
